Società Geografica Italiana Onlus (Italy) SGI (Società Geografica Italiana Onlus) is a non profit organisation, founded in Florence in 1867 with the overall aim of promoting culture and geographic knowledge. Moved to Rome in 1872, it is located in the XVI century “Palazzo Mattei”, inside “Villa Celimontana”. SGI is currently involved in a series of different activities, among which: promotion of scientific research and dissemination activities, study programs, environmental researches and studies, cooperation projects, organization of exhibitions and workshops, study travels, with a deep collaboration with associations and organizations, in Europe and beyond.more
Mediterranean Universities Union(Italy)UNIMED (Mediterranean Universities Union) is an Association of Universities from countries in the Euro-Mediterranean basin founded in the early 90s. European University Centre for Cultural Heritage (Italy)The European University Centre for Cultural Heritage was established in 1983, upon the initiative of the Italian Parliamentary Delegation to the Council of Europe, under the auspices of the Secretary General of the Council and of the Italian Government. Its members are Institutional Bodies, cultural centres and training organizations and is located in the prestigious Villa Rufolo of Ravello, one of the jewels of the Amalfi Coast. It has been legally recognized through a decree of the President of the Italian Republic, and co-operates with UNESCO, ICCROM, the European Commission, the Council of Europe and other prestigious international organizations, for which it plays a unique role as a centre for excellence for the scientific and professional specialization of graduates in the field of cultural heritage.more

Dar Al-Kalima College (Palestinian Authority)Dar al Kalima was established in 2006 with 22 students studying documentary film production or glass and ceramics. The College developed greatly since 2006 and now offers nine disciplines, with further disciplines in the planning stages, with over 200 students. It is the first institution of higher education in Palestine to focus exclusively on the visual and performing arts and cultural heritage of Palestine; also Dar al Kalima University College of Arts and Culture (DAK) is the first college in the West Bank to provide a specialized program in the performing and visual arts as well as cultural heritage in Palestine. It was first accredited by the Ministry of Higher education in 2006. In April of 2013, it was reaccredited as a university college.more

Lebanese University (Lebanon)The Lebanese university (UL) is the only free public university in Lebanon. Its faculties spread over the whole country, in 50 different Lebanese sites, collect nearly 70,000 students, (half of the student population in Lebanon), and has the best teachers and researchers to assist in the execution of this project. Located in a country rich in tourism resources, UL aims to create a systematic approach to knowledge and tourist development of the Mediterranean countries and can also participate in creating a model of cross-border cooperation, to enrich the cultural heritage, the conviviality and the environment.more
